The 2019 Valle de Guadalupe Fiestas de la Vendimia (Wine Harvest Festival) will take place this year from July 25-August 18, 2019. This year marks the 29th anniversary of the Vendimia. The Fiestas de la Vendimia is a series of elite parties and events held mostly at individual wineries. Galas, dinners, wine tastings and grand parties celebrate the harvest season for the grapes and showcase the local cuisine and wine. There are a few larger events hosted by the Provino (the wine association that puts on the festival) where many of the wineries are present and thousands of people join together to enjoy the local wine and regional cuisine. Those events include the Muestra del Vino (wine tasting event) and the Concurso de Paellas (Paella contest) that closes the Vendimia.
