New Claims Phone Numbers for ACE Insurance

ACE-InsurancePlease be aware that ACE Insurance has upgraded their claims center and now has new phone numbers for vehicle claims (the phone numbers for roadside assistance remain the same). ACE will be transferring calls made to the old phone numbers to the new system for the next year while they are completing the transition.

Remember that if you get into an accident in Mexico, you must call to make a claim right away, while you are still in Mexico.

DBTC at Day at the Docks – Sunday, April 9th

Discover Baja will be at Day at the Docks on Sunday April 9, 2017 at San Diego Sportfishing Landings in Point Loma. This free family-friendly event goes from 9am-5pm and features booths, demos, seminars, food and entertainment, free fishing for kids, bay boat rides and more. Semana Santa: April 9-16

Semana Santa (Holy Week) is coming up April 9-16, 2017 with Easter Sunday falling on the 16th. This is a very busy time in Mexico with many families taking vacation and many schools on spring break. Make sure to have advance reservations for accommodations.

 

Time Change on the Peninsula

The state of Baja California (norte) sprung ahead onto Daylight Savings Time on March 12. The state of Baja California Sur does not switch to Daylight Savings until April 2. Until then, both states are on the same time zone.
