Vendimia 2017

Fiestas de la Vendimia 2017 - valle de guadalupe

The Valle de Guadalupe Fiestas de la Vendimia (Wine Harvest Festival) will take place this year from July 28-August 20, 2017. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the Vendimia.

The Vendimia is a series of elite parties and events held mostly at individual wineries. Galas, dinners, wine tastings and grand parties celebrate the harvest season for the grapes and showcase the local cuisine and wine. There are a few larger events hosted by the Provino (the organization that puts on the festival) where many of the wineries are present and thousands of people join together to drink wine, eat local cuisine and enjoy life. Those events include the Muestra del Vino (wine tasting event) that kicks off the Vendimia, and the Concurso de Paellas (Paella contest) that closes the Vendimia.

Tickets for events must be purchased in advance and as soon as possible (the most popular events sell out quickly). Tickets for most events tend to be very expensive, but there are a few free events and some cheaper ones as well. Hotels should also be booked early as the valley fills up quickly during Vendimia. Check out our list of Valle de Guadalupe hotels. We recommend staying in Ensenada or Rosarito if the Valle de Guadalupe is booked.

The Vendimia 2017 schedule has been released. Please contact the organizers directly using the information provided below if you need more information about tickets or the event. Please note that information and events are subject to change.

Visit our Valle de Guadalupe page for basic information about the Guadalupe Valley as well as our recommendations for some hotels, wineries, restaurants and activities in the region.
